Bsc Inc. (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the LapLogger mobile application (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how LapLogger handles information related to your use of the App.
LapLogger allows you to record information about your vehicles and diagnostic sessions. The types of information that may be stored include:
Vehicle details that you enter manually (such as make, model, year, engine size).
Diagnostic and performance data obtained through OBD-II or other interfaces (for example, error codes, sensor readings, or trip logs).
Optional notes or labels you add to logs.
LapLogger does not collect personally identifiable information about you, the user, unless you include it yourself (for example, by writing your name in a log note).
All vehicle and log information is used solely within the App to display and manage your diagnostic data. We do not use this data for analytics, advertising, or user profiling.
If you choose to share a log file, the App will export only the data you select. You control what information is shared and with whom.
Your data is stored locally on your device.
LapLogger does not automatically upload or sync your data to our servers.
We recommend regular backups if you wish to preserve your logs.
All communication between the App and any connected device (for example, OBD adapters) is handled securely using standard system interfaces.
We do not share, sell, or rent your vehicle or diagnostic data to any third parties. Any sharing happens only when you choose to export or send your logs yourself.
LapLogger offers an optional feature to include GPS coordinates with vehicle diagnostic logs. This information is collected only when the user enables the feature and may be shared only when the user chooses to export or send logs.
Data you enter or generate within LapLogger remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored information.
LapLogger is intended for general use and not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years old.
